If you live anywhere near San Francisco, I highly highly recommend visiting — and getting involved with! — Garden for the Environment. I was part of their intensive Get Up! program a few years ago and it 100% changed my life. Literally. I have so much love for GFE, and have had the honor to do a bunch of creative collaborations with them over the years: from merch to self-guided tours, workshops to an entire summer program and First Thursday at SFMOMA (!!!).
