What an honor! In 2025, GFE director Maggie Marks and longtime GFE mentor Hilary Gordon had been brainstorming self-guided tour signage for a long time, and they brought me on to help illustrate the key concepts for permanent installation around the site. The first set was a collection of five: Welcome to GFE!; Native Backyard; Compost; Carbon Sequestration; Shade Garden; and Victory Garden. I noodled on different styles, and how to convey everything in a clear, straightforward way that would complement the copy for visual learners. Super proud of how these turned out!!
