Hi! I’m jordan.
(she / her)
A few projects I’m excited about right now:
If you’d like to say hi, have a chat, or work together, I’d love to hear from you!

a bit more about me
• I write + edit words and ideas!
I started out in journalism and media (what feels like 100 lifetimes ago): as an editor at Dwell Magazine, staff writer at Co.Design and Gizmodo, and freelance for a lot of different spots including T Magazine, National Geographic Travel, the San Francisco Chronicle, and more. That led to client work, helping companies like Adobe and Google Design tell stories about the people behind the products, and the work they do. I’ve been so lucky to interview hundreds of interesting folks about so many cool topics, which in turn has shaped my understanding of, and appreciation for, the unique power of creative thinking. I also have a dusty master’s degree in creative writing, and would like to get back into dreaming up short stories. Someday.
• I draw stuff!
I began drawing for myself, doing personal projects that kept me focused and busy and pretty much constantly doodling. Now, I’ve illustrated: merch, zines, and self-guided tours for Garden for the Environment, including a collab with SFMOMA (!); Cole Valley Town Square postcards and stickers for the Civic Joy Fund; how-tos for Adobe; a Pickleball game; and more.
• I make things!
I’ve always really really really freaking loved making things. Mixing materials is like sorting a puzzle with infinite right answers to the Q: “How might they go together?”
• I do this, that, and the other!
A bit of everything, here: I create and lead workshops and how-tos; I organize events community events that offer opportunities for folks to learn and make; I garden (with Carey Craddock, with kids at the Tenderloin Rec Center, and in my own backyard).
• I’m building outer outer .space,
a resource for the creative and the curious!
My passion project — the culmination of all of my years of writing and editing and drawing and making and doing.
