Tools and materials: Yellow Owl Workshop Carve-a-Stamp block, stamp carving tool, Tacky Glue, little wooden round, acrylic paint + brush, earring posts, E6000 adhesive.

This week I was so freaking lucky to learn reduction carving from Nathalie Roland, an amazing artist and teacher. We used Carve-a-Stamp blocks from our pal Chris Schmidt (aka Yellow Owl Workshop) and I loved the two-tone, purple-white offcuts so much I made some into a little pair of studs.
