WEEK OF 07.21.25
One of my favorite materials in the world — if not my absolute favorite — is rosemary wood. It is beautiful to behold, even better to handle: gnarled and sturdy and satisfying and perfect. I save every stick I can from the compost bin when I garden with Carey, and was inspired to make a monogram something this week when I found a piece that curved around like a J. It was a little big in the end, but digging through my collection I found a mini j and k that I attached to some other rosemary studs I made for a different pair of earrings that didn’t work out. Now to see how many letters I can come up with.
