Ruth Asawa Retrospective, SFMoMA teamed up with Garden for the Environment to do a pop up on a patio adjacent to the gallery, to complement Ruth’s dedication to her own garden and the powerful role of nature in her work and life. We put together a zine with garden info, along with drawing and writing prompts.

Together we’ll tour the Botanical Garden for inspiration, then make colorful prints with fresh and dried leaves and flowers, and a whole lot of colorful paint; all attendees will also put together a portable press to collect and preserve plants for future projects. Leave this hands-on session full of fresh ideas, with gifts to give or keep!
