Last year after we built two extra raised beds in the backyard, I planted a bunch of craspedia seeds because I know they dry well, and the yellow is so good. They didn’t do a dang thing until this year, when — surprise! — they popped up and I’ve been able to harvest a handful. I’ve had these wooden beads forever, and the stems fit perfectly. Add a back, and boom. Baubles.
