BOTANICAL PRINT BUTTONS

Tools and materials: scrap paper from a botanical print sesh, button maker + button making accoutrement

WEEK OF 05.12.25

I’ve been super into botanical printing lately, teaching classes at the SF Botanical Garden and Garden for the Environment, and including a DIY in the zine Carey Craddock and I created for GFE x SFMoMA. I really can’t get over how incredible — and incredibly diverse — the results are. After a driveway sesh in January, I couldn’t bear to toss all the scrap paper; it was just too cool. So I punched it out and made a bunch of pins with a button maker I splurged on a few months ago. (Worth it!) Learn how to make your own botanical prints here!
